Top Row is a couple of days before this, the kids getting a bit creative
:-). Rest is the planting of yet another pot-plant. Top soil extends to
120mm, sub-soil is ``Witwatersrand Complex'' consisting of fist-sized
quartzite and sandstone stones, tightly packed 180mm thick. Then, at this
part of the garden, solid slate only 300mm below the surface.
Drill, lever, hammer, and a bloody sore wrist, gets us down to 450mm and
that's it!!!. Bonsai, here we come.
